Located in the center of the beautiful village of Watkins Glen, at the corner of Franklin St. (Rt 14) and Sixth Street, Savards Family Restaurant has been serving the community and it's many visitors since 1979.  We Strive to bring you home cooked comfort food in a friendly atmosphere, at a reasonable price.  We use the freshest ingredients possible.  Almost everything that we prepare is home made-from our breads, pastries and desserts, to our sauces, gravies, dinner entrees, and specials.  Our staff will not only make your visit enjoyable, but will also tell you about our area.

Savard's was recommended by other travellers so we decided to check it out. The staff was incredibly friendly and supportive. Family run, they make you feel like a guest in their own home rather than an individual paying a chit. Great "home-cooked" food in a pine-wood country atmosphere.

One weekend a year we go to Watkins Glen to participate in the NYS Archery tournament. The second year we went, the waitress actually remembered us! So much so that she knew what we were going to order. Now, whenever we are in that neck of the woods, from Seneca Lake to Ithaca to Watkins Glen, we make it
one of our regular stops.
